Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading beverage manufacturer in the Garner area recruit for a Fleet Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift (1pm-10pm). Candidate will receive a shift differential in addition to their hourly pay rate.DutiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and forklifts, including brake repair and automotive diagnostics.Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of machinery.Suspend and transmit diagnostic information to identify issues effectively.Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.Maintain accurate records of service performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment.Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in technology related to fleet maintenance.Experience5 years experience as a vehicle maintenance technician or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery repair industry.Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing farm machinery, forklifts, and other vehicles.Must have basic welding experienceFamiliarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques is preferred.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
