What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving/Forklift Operator position at Accentuate Staffing?
Responsibilities :
- Accurately document item numbers, batch codes, and pallet tags based on picking forms.
- Inspect pulled products for accuracy and quality.
- Schedule delivery appointments and coordinate with truck lines during the Shipping / Receiving Manager’s absence.
- Handle customer pickup inquiries and manage product availability communications.
- Maintain adequate warehouse supplies and oversee inventory stock rotation.
- Conduct accurate cycle counts and ensure proper lot tracking for warehouse operations.
- Identify and properly manage mislabeled, damaged, or defective products, ensuring they are cleaned, discarded, or quarantined as required.
- Check in drivers, prepare shipment paperwork, and seal loaded trailers.
- Collaborate with supervisors to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability for customers.
- Record incoming materials, including cans, end cartons, sugar, and other products.
