You are:
FUNCTIONAL TESTER W/MORTGAGE (REMOTE)
Responsibilities:
Tester works in customer-focused agile squads who will bring knowledge of some of the following technologies, as these are used across the stack: AWS cloud platform, SalesForce, REST Web Services, Oracle database, Docker, XML/JSON, Selenium, Cucumber. Tester has an automation first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, reviewing and executing test cases based on business requirements manual and automated tests.
- Executing end to end tests from data sourcing through user interface.
- Documenting results of test cases based on system requirements, functional and technical specifications. Ensuring software meets intended user requirements and user scenarios.
- Reporting defects and document issues as required in Jira.
- Assisting development team in triage and resolution of defects.
- Performing re-test of defects and review test results.
- Working with data team to help populate and/or create test data in the test environment.
Must have
- Experience working in the mortgage industry, or with mortgage processes.
- Experience delivering test scripts, test cases and test plans.
- Experience in testing projects in an Agile framework with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with manual testing and related processes.
- Experience with the Agile software development methodology.
- Proficiency with creating requirements and solution documentation using Confluence and Jira.
- Proficiency with test planning, construction, and artifact management software, such as Jira. –
- Experience working with XML & JSON web services and flat file integrations.
- Experience in writing or executing quality assurance test cases with a focus on BDD.
- Tester has hands-on experience with common back-end testing (REST API and Database testing)-
