The role focuses on aligning the solution with business needs, enhancing content management strategies, and ensuring seamless content migration, metadata modeling, and records management. This resource will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the OpenText xECM environment supports organizational goals and governance standards.Responsibilities include : Lead the functional design of OpenText xECM, defining folder structures, metadata, security models, and user roles in alignment with business needs.Model metadata, configure records management, and set retention policies and classification schemes to ensure compliance and efficiency.Oversee content migration from legacy systems using tools like Object Importer and Magellan Integration Center, ensuring smooth, incremental transitions.Design and implement folder structures, permissions, and categories based on business requirements and security standards.Collaborate with technical teams to identify and design integration scenarios using OpenText ECM APIs, particularly with enterprise systems such as SAP.Define user profiles, automate access control sync with IAM systems, and ensure secure, efficient user management including alignment of access profiles with other enterprise systems such as SAP.Continuously optimize the xECM environment, ensuring performance, compliance, and best practices are followed.Here's what you need : 8 years with OpenText Content Suite products, including xECM.Strong experience in metadata modeling, records management, and content migration.Expertise in designing folder structures, taxonomy, and security in OpenText xECM.Experience with business integration using OpenText APIs with SAP and automating workflows.Proven track record in large-scale content migration and familiarity with third-party migration tools.Bonus points if you have : OpenText Content Suite and xECM certifications.Familiarity with migration tools and third-party solutions.Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., government and healthcare).Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and business stakeholders.Knowledge of information governance, security best practices, and regulatory requirements.In-depth knowledge of OpenText xECM features, including Brava / Intelligent Viewer, WebReports, and OpenText ECM APIs.Experience with integrating OpenText with iCertis.The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is : $126,300 - $243,100 USDWhat We BelieveWe have an unwavering commitment to diversity with the aim that every one of our people has a full sense of belonging within our organization.
