You love performing hands on design, coding, enhancing, and testing of software applications in order to meet business process requirements. As a Testing Automation Lead, you will be entrusted with the pivotal role of establishing and executing a comprehensive automation strategy across the entire application or product lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting and scripting test automation, implementing frameworks, and troubleshooting software issues that emerge from testing.
The Work:
Your daily activities will revolve around the Salesforce platform and Copado, where you will provide testing and analysis for complex systems to ensure compliance and performance standards. You will independently develop a variety of test scripts, including performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508 compliance, as needed. Creating test scenarios and executing tests will be part of your routine, along with analyzing results, pinpointing performance issues, and drafting reports to enhance system functionality. Collaboration with other testers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues is key, ensuring customer satisfaction. Your proactive participation in requirements gathering meetings will deepen your understanding of business needs and system requirements, ensuring all development aligns with set criteria.
In your role, you will be the driving force behind the health of the end-to-end test automation pipeline and the overall quality of the program. You will produce detailed testing documents, such as test plans, test cases, test data, and scripts, to facilitate rapid and iterative testing. Developing testing status reporting tools and methods will enable stakeholders to quickly gauge system status and delve into details as needed. Leadership in automated testing processes is expected, as you will contribute to the design and maintenance of the test automation framework. Your commitment to an automation-first approach will minimize manual configurations within the platform. You will also be responsible for developing and enforcing high-quality automation test engineering best practices, strategies, and principles. Open communication across the program and with stakeholders is essential for maintaining transparency and awareness of progress and any impediments. Lastly, you will drive delivery and continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Here is what you need:
- Provides overall automation strategy for the entire application or product lifecycle
- Designs and writes test automation scripts
- Implements test automation frameworks
- Investigates problems in software as a result of testing
- 3 years of experience required
- BS Degree (A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline preferred)
- US residency is required, must be in country 3 of last 5 years
- Valid passport required
- Fingerprinting is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Working hours 9-5 eastern, candidates can reside outside of eastern time zone but must work 9-5 eastern hours
- Experience in the Salesforce and Copado environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Strong experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or Medicaid CHIP data
- US Citizenship required
