- You'll manage the procurement process for general contractors, trade vendors, design consultants, and key service providers on behalf of the owner.
- You'll develop procurement and contracting strategies based on project goals, delivery methods, and timelines.
- You'll lead the creation, issuance, and management of RFPs, including bid solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
- You'll track procurement milestones, vendor deliverables, and contract execution timelines, proactively identifying risk and recommending mitigation strategies.
- You'll oversee vendor relationships, performance tracking, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- You'll draft, review, and administer complex construction contracts and service agreements in collaboration with legal teams and project stakeholders.
- You'll partner with project managers, estimators, and engineers to align procurement strategies with project scope, schedule, and budget forecasts.
- You'll prepare and present procurement status reports and contract summaries to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
- You'll monitor and manage change orders, contract amendments, and procurement-related budget tracking.
- You'll support continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes and contribute to training and mentoring of junior procurement team members.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, construction management, engineering, architectural, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 5 year(s) of experience in contract management or procurement, with a focus on large-scale construction projects (data center experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, purchase orders, and change management processes
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with procurement and contract management software
- Experience collaborating with legal teams and senior stakeholders
- Ability to travel as required to project sites and vendor locations
- Experience managing procurement for hyperscale data center construction projects
- Familiarity with delivery methods and risk allocation strategies for large construction programs
- Experience working with collaborative contract management platforms and reporting dashboards
- Prior experience with international sourcing and global vendor management. Certification from NCMA (National Contract Management Association or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
