Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for clients in the energy upstream sector to understand their business needs and challenges.
Project Management: Lead and manage project teams to deliver strategic solutions and consulting services in areas such as exploration, production, and operations, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
Industry Expertise & Analysis: Provide deep industry insights and expertise in upstream oil and gas, conducting detailed analyses of market trends, operational performance, and technological advancements to support client decision-making.
Solution Design & Implementation: Collaborate with clients to design and implement innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance production capabilities in the upstream sector.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to senior client stakeholders, communicating project progress, outcomes, and recommendations effectively.
Please note: We prefer to hire people who reside in or near Houston or are willing to relocate to the area. We can also consider other locations across the US that are near to an Accenture Corporate location.
What you need:
At least 3 years of experience working in downstream refining, ideally in both operational and management consulting roles.
Experienced and knowledgeable of the downstream oil and gas value chain, in one or more of the following areas: Refinery and Petrochemical Energy Management; Refining and Petrochemical Planning & Scheduling; Supply Chain Management; Operations Management.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field
Bonus Points If:
You have experience managing external consulting for downstream solutions to clients in the oil and gas industry
You’ve developed senior industry relationships with North American upstream/downstream oil and gas operators
Experienced and knowledgeable of the upstream/downstream oil and gas value chain.
You have a Masters or Advanced degree.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
