THE WORK:

You'll perform commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment, water treatment systems, HVAC, chillers, CRAC units, cooling towers, etc. and other critical mechanical equipment.

You'll conduct functional testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing to verify system performance and reliability, namely all Cx activities from L0 to L5.

You'll work closely with a team of commissioning engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities.

You’ll communicate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and smooth project execution and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in electrical systems during the commissioning process.

You'll collaborate with design and construction teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance.

You'll prepare and maintain accurate commissioning documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists.

You'll provide detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion.

You'll ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, AISC, etc.).

You’ll stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to mechanical commissioning and share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.

Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

$90,000 - $120,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) OR additional four (4) years of related experience

Minimum five (5) years’ professional paid experience in a related role

Minimum three (3) years’ experience commissioning mechanical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Experience commissioning hyperscale and / or colocation data centers

Familiarity with advanced monitoring systems such as BMS, EPMS and SCADA

Commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient design practices

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex Mechanical systems

Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities

Proficient in mechanical system testing equipment and software tools
