The Work

Join us in a thrilling journey where you will be an SME in Mainframes Modernization on GCP, collaborate and manage the team to perform, engage with multiple teams, and contribute on key decisions. Responsible for team decisions, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Embrace this opportunity to make a significant impact! Key Areas of Expertise:

As a Mainframe Modernization We are looking for an experienced expert to manage modernization design, build and test for mainframe jobs. We are looking for expertise of mainframe db2 Data Migration to move large multi country dataset from on premise legacy Teradata to Google Big Query. The lead is expected to manage team of 5-10 members to complete delivery of mainframe data engineering pipeline modernization by repointing it from legacy Teradata to Google Cloud Big Query.

Here's what you need

• 10 years of Mainframe experience and at least 3 years of experience on working on or with Google Cloud.
• 3 years proficiency in Cloud Data Migration
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Google Applications: Mainframes Modernization on GCP, Data Migration, Mainframe DevOps, Google Big Query, Data Engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and/or relevant field of studies
• Hands on experience in designing data pipelines that are capable of handling multiple encodings of data (US and European) migration from legacy systems to modern data platforms like GCP
• 3 years of experience in mainframe DevOps, schedulers (CA7) and other mainframe developer tools
• Individual should be able manage multi location team for mainframe modernization
• Individual should have experience of working client's tech lead and other stakeholders for managing data certification

Bonus points if you have

• Expert proficiency in Data Migrations
• Intermediate proficiency in Data Engineering
• Expert proficiency in Mainframe DevOps
• Advanced proficiency in Google BigQuery
• Certification on Google Cloud Data Engineering

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
