Salary Range : $25.00 To $32.00 Hourly

ACC Environmental Consultant Company has an opportunity for a detail oriented, well organized, dependable Geologist for our Bay Area location. This mid-level, full-time position requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to learn. This position is a combination of field and office work with a heavy focus on field efforts, data evaluation, and reporting. This position requires some travel, with an anticipated travel amount of up to 20%.

Successful Candidates Should Have :

4-6 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with environmental site investigations, groundwater monitoring, groundwater / soil sampling, assessment, characterization, and data quality review / data evaluation.
Support in data management and statistical analysis, preparation of technical documents, figures, and investigations.
Maintenance and periodic reporting.
Management of data requests with various stakeholders and evaluation / preparation of responses to regulatory issues.
Willingness to travel within the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to perform in a high volume, time-sensitive / deadline-driven environment.
Capability to handle multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.
Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
OSHA 40-hour Hazmat training is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in geology, environmental geology, engineering, or related discipline.

Advanced degree is a plus.

LG or RG preferred or the ability to acquire GIT within two years of employment.
