As a Fraud Strategist, your extensive knowledge of card-not-present (CNP) fraud is crucial. You will use data analysis to identify fraud, implement prevention techniques, and monitor performance to create effective e-commerce fraud prevention and revenue retention strategies for Accertify clients. Your role involves working directly with e-commerce clients in various industries, providing consultation services to support them in achieving their objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Strategic Risk Managers in providing consultation services, including data analysis, strategy implementation, and production monitoring
- Perform Level 1 and Level 2 Accertify Support functions including (but not limited to) updating hierarchy settings, virtual table/column changes, web importers, etc.
- Configure Interceptas transaction page layout and other features to customer specifications
- Create and run custom or pre-defined platform reports to monitor daily performance, strategy effectiveness, and identify emerging fraud patterns or trends
- Perform post-transaction data analysis to recommend and implement new strategies to mitigate fraud and/or reduce false positives
- Perform virtual trainings for both internal and external partners
- Develop strong relationships with customers, deliver exceptional service, and ensure that Client expectations are exceeded
- Work as a team player by contributing, learning, and sharing new knowledge
- Assist with additional duties as defined by the leader
- Must be comfortable with on-call times for major client events, and responding to client concerns at off-hours
- Travel to client locations may be required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent working experience
- 3 years advanced Interceptas experience (reporting, tables, importing/exporting, etc.)
- 2 years’ experience in e-commerce fraud prevention with strong understanding of payment risk principles, including techniques or platforms used to mitigate e-commerce fraud preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; experience with other data extraction and visualization tools such as SQL or Splunk preferred
- Comfortable with and enjoys working with large data sets
- Confidence making instinctual business decisions with little or no direction to solve problems and drive results
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with the flexibility to manage competing priorities
- Leads by example in client interactions, ownership of role responsibilities, and interpersonal relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- 1 year of financial money transfer fraud experience is a plus

- Location: 2 Pierce Place, Suite 900, Itasca, IL 60143
- Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week)
- Remote work flexibility will be considered for qualified candidates outside the Chicagoland area.
- Potential Salary Range $60,000-$70,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Visa Sponsorship: employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. is required, as Accertify will not pursue Visa sponsorship for this position.
