As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Our medical practice is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Allergy & Immunology and be able to provide excellent customer service to our patients. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and providing general administrative support. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Collect patient information, including insurance information and medical history.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for services.
- Process payments and provide receipts to patients.
- Assist with allergy & immunology related inquiries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
