Job Title: Asset Manager – Mobile Dental Clinic

Job Summary:
The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the equipment, vehicles, and supplies essential for the successful operation of our mobile dental clinic. This role ensures that all assets are properly inventoried, maintained, and utilized efficiently to support high-quality patient care. The Asset Manager will collaborate with dental teams, logistics staff, and vendors to optimize asset performance and longevity while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management & Maintenance
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all mobile dental equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
- Ensure routine maintenance and timely repairs of dental equipment, mobile units, and vehicles to prevent service disruptions.
- Develop and implement an asset tracking system to monitor usage, lifespan, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with dental and operations teams to anticipate and fulfill equipment and supply needs.
- Work with vendors to procure high-quality dental tools, instruments, and consumables at cost-effective rates.
Logistics & Compliance
- Ensure all mobile clinic vehicles comply with transportation, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Monitor and manage fuel usage, fleet maintenance records, and vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure dental equipment meets industry standards and infection control protocols.
- Assist in regulatory inspections and audits related to assets and equipment.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Manage asset-related budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Optimize procurement processes to reduce waste and control costs without compromising quality.
- Analyze data on asset usage to make recommendations for upgrades, replacements, or disposal.
Operational Support
- Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile clinics at various locations.
- Train staff on proper equipment handling, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop policies and procedures for asset management, maintenance schedules, and emergency repair protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset or fleet management, preferably in healthcare, dental, or mobile services.
- Strong knowledge of dental equipment, sterilization processes, and mobile healthcare logistics.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and asset tracking tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate equipment repairs with vendors and technicians.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control regulations.
- Experience in procurement and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and inventory software.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
