What is the position?
This position works directly with our job seekers to help them find meaningful employment through forming professional relationships with employers. This position is a mixture of remote and community based work with the goal of placing job seekers in a position that suits their skills, talents, and interests.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, with occasional evening hours and weekends required
Job Duties:
- Support job seekers with long-term employment goals, work history, strengths, personal culture (as defined by each person), and other factors that relate to a current vocational goal
- Communicate with employers in identifying their needs to appropriately match job seekers based on their preferences, interests, and talents, including assisting with identifying and developing any accommodations needed for that job seeker
- Work with employers on-site to develop employment opportunities
- Develop resumes/portfolios and assist with preparing them for interviews
- Develop successful working relationships with a variety of employers to help match job seekers and their workplace needs
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to work in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area remotely and community-based
- Desire to help others
- 18 years of age or older with valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage
- Willing to use personal vehicle to transport clients
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to prepare written reports via computer or smart phone using proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Ability to communicate effectively with people with different communication styles and abilities
- One year experience working with individuals who experience intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, with an emphasis on job placement preferred
