- As an Insurance Marketer at Cottingham & Butler, you will leverage your industry expertise to negotiate competitive pricing with insurance companies, ensuring the best possible deals for our clients. This role goes beyond traditional marketing; it involves building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers to craft optimal solutions for our clients.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis :
- Analyze and understand the insurance marketplace to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for commercial placements.
- Client Exposure Research :
- Thoroughly research and understand clients exposures to prepare comprehensive submissions.
- Negotiation :
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing of P&C insurance coverage with underwriters.
- Proposal Preparation :
- Prepare and review quotes, proposals, and rating worksheets, comparing multiple insurance programs to present the best options.
- Relationship Management :
- Build and manage relationships with carrier partners by attending meetings and events.
- Qualifications :
- Experience :
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record of successful negotiations and deal-making.
- Skills :
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Education :
- Bachelors degree preferred.
