We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Health Clinic Auditor to work cooperatively with the Quality Director, Health Home Director, Chief Operations Officer, Provider(s), Medical and Dental Clinic Managers, and all staff members; supporting a team effort at our clinics, serving our customers and striving to achieve our Mission through our Core Values Established for the special needs of our patients. The Clinical Auditor will be responsible for assisting the organization in keeping with all aspects of clinical compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit clinical information within EHR or manual logs as related to patient care
- Perform periodic or other focused medical record audits as requested to ensure accountability of quality of workflows, processes, and policies related in delivery of care
- Assist in engaging clinical staff in following pre-defined policies for quality care
- Utilize evaluation and data analysis skills to serve on the Quality Assurance/Improvement team
- Audit staff in accordance with established auditing processes and assist in making recommendation for improvement to the Quality Director
- Work in conjunction with the Quality Director to establish patterns or trends that require additional training or corrective action
- Assist with revisions to policies, procedures, and work processes development based on audit findings
- Provide technical assistance as directed to collaboration partners?
- Serve on project work groups and subcommittees as assigned and needed
- Respond to queries and data analysis requests by collaboration partners
- Prepares reports as necessary or required for the Quality Director, Health Home Director, and Chief Operations Officer, or as assigned?
- Completes predetermined amount of auditing and reporting as set by Quality Director
- Presents Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) models based on audit findings, amount determined by Quality Director
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To perform this position successfully, the individual must possess:
- Knowledge of health care practices in medical procedures
- A degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field
- LPN/RN license or related clinical discipline
- Licensed in the State of Missouri
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience using Electronic Health Records
- Ability to evaluate and analyze data
- Data management experience for report writing and tracking
- Be tactful and patient with a professional appearance and attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual a plus.
