As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all individuals visiting our practice. You will handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, billing inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a seamless office operation.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about dental services, appointments, and insurance coverage.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of the dentist’s time.
Verify patient insurance information and process necessary authorizations.
Assist patients with paperwork, billing issues, and payment processing.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Prepare and maintain patient records in the practice management system.
Assist with office operations and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; dental office experience is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance practices is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
