Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
• Obtain and document patient medical history, vital signs, and other pertinent information.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by the provider.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Certification or Registration: Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent), preferred
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
