Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. The NP will provide high-quality primary care services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine primary care services including physical exams, screenings, and immunizations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, etc.
Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and other diagnostics
Develop personalized treatment plans and coordinate care
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
Educate patients on health maintenance and lifestyle changes
Document visits and maintain accurate health records in the EHR system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
MSN or DNP from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
Board Certification in Family or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a primary care setting preferred
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
