What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Cashier position at Access Family Pharmacy?
Whitwell Pharmacy is a family owned, small town pharmacy. We're currently looking to add a part time cashier to the team. We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our patients, so attention to detail and excellent customer service will be required. Since we are a small town pharmacy, we form relationships with many of our patients and need a cashier who can maintain those relationships and create new ones. The desire to help people is important in this role. We have a small team of people who keep the pharmacy running, and because of that, we need someone who will be reliable and hard working.
This is a part time position (around 25 hours per week). The schedule would be Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday. We're open 9:00am to 5:30pm CST Monday to Friday, and 9:00am to 12:00pm CST on Saturdays. The starting pay is $13 - $14 depending on experience.
As Whitwell Pharmacy is a small pharmacy, interviews are being held at another location under the same ownership: Access Family Pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN. Please note that while interviews are being held at Access Pharmacy, the position open for hiring is at Whitwell Pharmacy.

Greet customers immediately upon entering the pharmacy
Assist customers
Ring up items and take payments
Answer phone calls
Part time employees are eligible for 401k if they meet the plan's minimum hours requirement. The company offers up to a 4% match.
