What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Clinic Nurse- PRN or Part-Time position at Access Medical Clinic LLC?
We are looking to expand our team and are currently seeking to employ a PRN or Part Time LPN Clinic Nurse in our Batesville, AR Urgent Care Clinic. Our clinic hours are:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Sunday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Two weekends per month required
The following list is a snapshot of the common duties for this position:
- Monitor and record vital signs, medical history (surgical, family, etc)
- Perform phlebotomy procedures
- Assist with minor clinical procedures
- Point of care testing
- Administer medication, vaccinations
- Treat and assist patients with an illness or injury
- Gauge a patient's overall state of health
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Promote patient wellness
- Ensure appropriate legal and regulatory standards
- Referrals and Prior Authorizations
- Notify patients of test results
- Answer phones
- Perform registration duties as needed (verify insurance, update demographics, schedule appointment, etc)
License/Certification:
- LPN License to practice in Arkansas
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
