Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence and Systems Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in helping make informed decisions regarding our business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to improve our organization’s performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the company’s KPI framework
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting by creating a system for consistent and accurate performance tracking
- Analyze customer data to identify key demographics, purchasing patterns and opportunity for growth
- Analyze data to uncover insights and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Conduct invoice analysis for our top vendors to uncover cost-saving opportunities for growth
- Lead the design and implementation of data dashboards and reports that will inform senior management’s strategic decision making
- Compile and transform KPI data from all departments, presenting it in a clear and actionable format for senior management to review
- Lead and promote the importance of data analytics and fostering a culture of data-driven decision making
- Prepare the future integration of an ERP system, ensuring that current data practices will align with new technology
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in a data-driven analytical role reporting directly to executive management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot a plus
- Strong sense of business acumen and analytical prowess
- Strong proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks and familiarity with laboratory information systems
- Experience with implementing or working with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in documenting requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and proactively, ensuring strict confidentiality
- Familiarity with business process modeling and optimization techniques
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives during periods of change
- Self-starter with excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive improvements through innovation and implementation
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
