Job Summary
Responsible for providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and infrastructure. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users with technical problems, and maintaining the integrity of the lab's IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Assist in the maintenance and updating of company systems, servers, and databases. Conduct routine system checks and perform repairs or updates as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN/WAN configurations, and VPN support.
- Set up and maintain desktop computers, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and proprietary applications.
- Ensure proper security measures are in place and assist in the implementation of data protection policies, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and backups.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, network diagrams, and technical support tickets. Document technical solutions and best practices for future reference.
- Monitor and manage inventory of IT hardware and software licenses. Ensure proper allocation and usage of resources.
- Work closely with other departments, especially Operations and HR, to understand their needs and provide timely IT support.
- Provide technical training and support for staff members when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
- Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
