What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide (HHA)/Caregiver position at Access Professional Home Care Services?
Currently Hiring for Weekend/Coverage Shift (Weekend Pay Differential)
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and comfort.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or catheterization.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing client's living space.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
- Hoyer lift experience is a plus

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
