Access Sciences is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead a comprehensive Records & Information Management (RIM) Program for one of our esteemed long-term clients in the state government sector. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the RIM Program, including resource management and functional areas, ensuring seamless operations across diverse agency sections, each with its unique culture.

To thrive as a Project Manager for Access Sciences' Records & Information Management (RIM) Program, you will need a robust skill set and a proactive mindset. Proficiency in defining and translating technology system requirements is essential, alongside the ability to develop or revise policies and guidance that ensure end-user compliance. Success in this role hinges on strong stakeholder management skills, enabling you to maintain effective relationships through thoughtful communication planning and defined channels.
Responsibilities:
- Management of full-time, direct RIM Program support team, including recruiting support as needed, coaching, and mentoring
- Image / Scan Operations
- Engagement, Communications, Training
- Physical records inventory management, from intake, check-in/check-out, through disposition
- Electronic records intake, quality check, metadata management, and oversight of system administration, MOC
- Records Retention Schedule review and ongoing maintenance, requests for change
- Ongoing conversion of legacy content to microfilm per State guidelines
- Quality assurance of project or program deliverables
- Project Management tools, including routine status reporting, budget management, and other contract compliance metrics
- Quarterly executive level presentation of progress, metrics, and other items required by contract
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required:
- Define and translate requirements for technology systems
- Process improvements
- Develop or revise policy, guidance, and work instruction to enable end-user compliance
- Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships through defined communication planning and channels
- Improve Program effectiveness overall by advancing the knowledge level of the entire RIM Program team from RIM expertise, Change Management principles and tactics, to technical implementation best practices
- Document or Content Management technology implementation, including design and configuration metadata or taxonomy inputs to technical team migration approaches for legacy content
- Familiarity with scan or image hardware and software
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information/Data Management, Business, or related field required.
