What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Alarm Technician/Wire Puller/Laborer position at Access Security, Inc.?
Installs, maintains, or assists veteran installers with fire, security, alarm, and special systems. Programs and maintains equipment and systems including fire alarm, intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, holdup/duress, integrated systems, and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Previous experience with Electronic Security Systems (Access Control, Burglary Systems, CCTV
Systems, Fire Systems, etc..
- Computer Savvy
- Basic computer networking knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a routine basis
- Respond to after hour calls
- Work effectively with limited supervision
Performance Responsibilities:
- Pull Wire
- Troubleshoot and repair all systems
- Apply concepts of basic electricity
- Apply concepts of basic electronics component
- Install burglar alarm, fire alarms, panic alarms, access control systems, camera systems, intercom, nurse call systems, etc.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- System security: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License
We have different positions available for different skill levels. The right person can be trained as an entry level technician and work their way up. Someone with experience or relevant skills can start out at a higher position in the company and continue to move up. Starting pay is based on experience and skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
