Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide
Department: Rehab Services
Reports to: Director of Rehab Services
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Under supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director and the Physical Therapist, the Rehab Aid is responsible for providing assistance to the Physical Therapy Department.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Outstanding customer service; ability to greet patients when they arrive.
- Ability to assist the Therapy team as needed
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the department
- Ability to stock the department supplies and communicate when supplies are needed.
- Assists with sourcing and pricing of supplies
- Prepares Bio-hazard for standing pick up.
- Ability to teach and train new Aids.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Knowledge of computers and scheduling.
- Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
- Required: High School Graduate or GED; BCLS
- Preferred: Associates Degree.
