Access: Supports For Living is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing person-centered care and support.
We are currently seeking a Community Living Support Specialist to join our team in the Hudson Valley area. As a Community Habilitation Worker, you will be responsible for providing skill-building training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
Your duties will include teaching daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and time management, as well as working on valued outcomes with the assigned individual to identify steps to achieve their goals. You will also document each training session and report progress and barriers with each client.
Qualified candidates should have prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and possess strong interpersonal and engagement skills. Bilingual English and Spanish speakers are a plus.
