What you’ll be responsible for :
The Provider Enrollment Specialist processes enrollment applications for Physicians and / or other medical providers with Medicare / Medicaid and Commercial payers. Enrollment representatives works with internal teams, providers, Medicare and Medicaid to assist in completing the enrollment process for medical providers. Responsible for preparing and submitting enrollment applications and supporting documentation to enroll physician and group.
What you’ll work on :
- Participate in enrollment, credentialing, re-credentialing for group and individual providers
- Maintain provider enrollment files, e-files, and update enrollment database with current and accurate information
- Maintain and update providers CAQH profiles
- Ensure work and product standards are of the highest quality
- Maintain professional communication with all providers, external customers, coworkers and management
- Correspond with providers as needed to obtain information in a professional manner
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission credentialing standards and company policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all provider files
- Other projects as assigned by management
