The Perks of a Salaried, Full-Time Position at AccessAbilities:
While hourly positions offer some flexibility, a salaried role with us comes with significant benefits that provide greater stability and long-term advantages. Here's why a salaried position is more valuable:
- Consistent and Predictable Income: As a salaried employee, you’ll have the peace of mind that comes with a set annual salary, giving you financial stability. You won’t have to worry about fluctuating weekly hours or gaps in pay—your paycheck is guaranteed, allowing you to plan for the future.
- Work-Life Balance with Paid Time Off: We believe in balancing the demands of work with personal time. As a salaried, full-time employee, you’ll enjoy 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year plus 9 paid holidays. Whether you’re taking a much-needed break or handling personal matters, you won’t lose pay when you take time off. Hourly workers often don’t get the same benefits, which means they may have to choose between work and personal life.
- Paid Benefits Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance (voluntary and employer-paid options), and short-term disability coverage. These essential benefits are often not available in hourly positions, or if they are, may come at a higher cost to the employee.
- Job Security and Career Growth: As a salaried employee, you are part of a committed, long-term team. We invest in your career development through mentorship, paid training, and tuition assistance to further your education. We also support your pathway to BCBA certification, ensuring you grow professionally while enjoying financial security.
- More Opportunities for Advancement: Salaried roles come with clear pathways for career growth. At AccessAbilities, we promote from within, and we want you to thrive. As a Behavior Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into roles such as Behavior Analyst or other leadership positions with the full backing of the team and the company.
- Mileage Reimbursement and Administrative Support: We understand that traveling to different locations is part of the job. As a salaried employee, you’ll be reimbursed for mileage, and you’ll have access to strong administrative support for billing and paperwork, giving you more time to focus on what matters most—your clients.
- Stability for Families and Financial Planning: If you’re supporting a family or managing personal financial goals, having a consistent, salaried income makes it easier to budget, save, and plan. You’ll also have the added security of 401(k) with match for retirement savings.
About the Role:
As a Behavior Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals reach their potential by applying evidence-based practices to improve their quality of life. You’ll work with children, adults, families, and staff, providing behavior intervention and support in the framework of Indiana Medicaid Waiver programs. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for professionals who are pursuing their BCBA certification—gain valuable experience and mentorship as you work towards becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst!
We’re looking for people who are humble, hungry, and smart—who embody our core values of Proactive, Driven, Problem-Solver, and Growth-Minded. If you're passionate about making a difference and eager to advance your career, this is the place for you!

- Conduct thorough assessments and observations to develop and implement Behavior Support Plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Collaborate with families, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and other team members to ensure successful outcomes for individuals.
- Provide ongoing training to DSPs and families, empowering them to implement behavior interventions effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, assessments, and progress reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with Medicaid Waiver programs and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to travel to client homes and community settings and hold in-person sessions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
