Key Responsibilities :
As a Lead DSP, you'll :
- Provide Leadership & Mentorship : Be the role model for your team, leading by example, guiding and mentoring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to enhance their skills and achieve their goals.
- Support Personal Goal Achievement : Help individuals work toward their personal goals by ensuring that their Person-Centered Individualized Support Plans (PCISP) are followed, and progress is carefully documented.
- Assist with Day-to-Day Operations : Oversee site scheduling, manage staffing needs, and ensure a safe living environment for individuals.
- Healthcare Support : Ensure individuals receive proper healthcare, including medication administration, monitoring side effects, and scheduling appointments.
- Promote Team Collaboration : Foster teamwork, communicate effectively, and create a positive work environment by listening to team members and offering training & support.
- Ensure Compliance : Stay up to date with company policies, procedures, state regulations, and HIPAA guidelines to ensure all services are delivered with integrity and accuracy.
