Program Director – DD/ABI Residential Reports to: Program Director for DD/ABI Residential Location: East Syracuse, NY Pay Rate: $60,000 - $62,400 Yearly Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) of assigned IRA programs, ensure participant life plans are properly developed, implemented, distributed, and maintained, per Agency and OPWDD policies
- Responsible for the supervision of Program Managers and other assigned staff
- Complete required reports, including: monthly director report, annual risk assessments, and any other reports, as directed
- Oversee and monitor all budgets, financial reports, and expenses for assigned IRAs
- Establish and maintain a rapport with OPWDD, CNY Developmental Disabilities Regional Office (DDRO), and other service providers; participate in external OPWDD audits and exit conferences
- Provide person-centered, quality, services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in human services field, plus one year of experience working with people with disabilities, required. Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, required. Knowledge of OPWDD services and regulations, preferred. Public speaking experience, preferred. Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as, strong computer skills. Must be able to demonstrate teamwork and professionalism.
Conditions of Employment:
Must have a valid New York State driver license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving Policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
