Schedule: M-F: 9a-5p
Pay Rate: $19.67 - $21.62 Hourly

Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive employee to provide recovery supports essential for program participants in the Mental Health Housing program to develop, refine, or maintain the skills needed to navigate the complexities of daily life.
Responsibilities:
- Assists participants in developing the skills needed to fully participate in the community, build connections, and establish natural supports.
- Helps participants identify, work towards, and achieve long-term goals across various aspects of their lives, including social, emotional, educational, and vocational development.
- Assist clients with dietary and wellness education, including meal planning, healthy shopping, meal preparation, and nutrition awareness.
- Provides employment services to help clients pursue, secure, and retain employment as part of their individualized goals.
- Collaborates with other staff in a team-oriented approach that fosters skill teaching and role modeling.
- Assists with the training of staff, volunteers, and student interns as assigned.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and counseling principles
- Documents plans, assessments and services in a manner consistent with agency expectations and government regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
GED plus 5 years’ experience working with people with mental health or substance use disorders required, Associate’s Degree plus 3 years’ experience working with people with mental health or substance use disorders accepted, Bachelor’s Degree in human services field preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Salary : $20 - $22
