Seeking a Direct Support Professional for a young man with a Developmental Disability
You can make a difference in the life of someone special! We are looking for an engaging and creative staff (1:1 support) to work with a young man with a developmental disability who is located in Minoa, NY. In this critical role, you will provide support to the person while completing tasks and activities such as assisting with personal care routine, organization of paperwork, providing advocacy, and attending community activities. The ideal candidate will have effective communication, be compassionate, and must be reliable. Medical experience such as nursing is required. Must be comfortable with reminding and supporting individual with his personal care routine.
Driver’s License and own vehicle is required.
Hours: Up to 36 hours/week
Pay rate: $25 to $35/hour, additionally $.70 per mile for transportation reimbursement
Location: Minoa, NY
Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency.
