The Financial Analyst will support our financial planning and analysis efforts, providing key insights and recommendations to leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure financial alignment.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with SaaS systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a passion for solving complex business problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to apply the 80/20 rule effectively to problem-solving.
- Excellent judgment in ambiguous or new situations to determine the best path forward.
- Structured thinking with a strong command of details that can be synthesized into compelling insights and recommendations.
- Ability to create visually attractive, concise presentations for high-profile audiences using Google Slides and/or PowerPoint.
- Experience in SaaS or technology companies.
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
