Accessible Home Services is looking for DSP (Direct Support Professionals) - Ashtabula, OH to fill positions providing direct support services to individuals in their home.
DSP (Direct Support Professional) Job Description for DSP (Direct Support Professional) (included, but not limited to):
- Maintaining Health and Safety of the individuals in your care while maintaining their living space.
- Following the ISP (individual Service Plan) for the individuals being served.
- Assist individuals in completing personal care activities (hygiene & grooming)
- Assist with other life skills (meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medical/personal appointments, transportation, medication administration, etc.)
- Be a positive role-model (manners, communication, interactions, etc.)
DSP Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Physical capacity to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of driver’s insurance
- Must pass pre-employment background checks
- Able to work various shifts including afternoons, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
