Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator for Accessible Home Services, Inc. is responsible for the overall management and delivery of residential services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. The focus of the position is to develop and lead the residential services team to ensure continuity of services resulting in ensuring the health, safety, independence, and happiness of the individuals served.
The "Perfect Fit" will be a seasoned professional with proven success in developing and leading a management team. Must be reliable, flexible, and able to thrive in high stress situations.
Program Coordinator Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services or related field (may substitute degree with 10 years in DODD field)
- 4 years experience in supervisory role in similar position providing supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Excellent computer and writing skills (subject to skills assessment)
- High level of professionalism and verbal communication skills
- Excellent decision making, time management, and conflict resolution skills
- During designated periods, possess the ability to coordinate and provide on-call direct care support
- Medication Administration certification preferred
- CPR/First Aid/AED for adults preferred
- Must pass criminal background check
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and valid auto insurance
Program Coordinator Essential Functions:
- Reports to the Residential Services Director and oversees the day-to-day operations and coordination of support and services in assigned region to include planning, coordinating, managing, etc.
- Oversight and supervision of the development of program staff including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, families, and stakeholders
- Attend meetings and provide reports as required and requested
- Maintain, utilize, and train others with operation of company technology (time tracking and client service delivery documentation)
- Manage regional budget and allocate resources effectively to ensure continued growth and program success
Program Coordinator's salary starts at $70,000.00/year. Salary is negotiable based on proven successful experience.
