Program Manager
The Program Manager for Accessible Home Services reports directly to the Program Coordinator and is responsible for the delivery of residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The focus of the Program Manager includes providing direct client care as well as developing, managing, and working with the team to ensure the health and safety of the clients that we serve. The Program Manager works a non-traditional schedule, reflective of the needs of the company, and may be on-call during specific time periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience working with developmentally and/or intellectually disabled clients
- Open availability to work any shift
- 2 years experience in a supervisory role
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and valid Auto Insurance
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent decision making, time management, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to coordinate and provide on-call direct care support
- Ability to become certified in adult CPR and First Aid and Medication Administration 1, 2, & 3
- Must be able to withstand prolonged walking, standing, sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, pulling, twisting, climbing stairs, and infrequently lift up to 50lbs.
Essential Functions of the Program Manager:
- Provide day-to-day direction, training, and supervision to Home Managers and DSP's.
- Provide feedback about employees and participate in performance evaluations
- Assist in preparation of staff schedules
- Petty cash management
- Review and ensure compliance with documentation (written and electronic)
- Ensure adherence to the client-specific Individual Support Plan (ISP), and assist in the creation
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, family, guardians, SSA's, agencies, staff, fellow supervisors, home managers, Human Resources, Medical Team, and Director
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Attend meetings and supply reports as required
- Maintain, utilize, and train staff with operation of company technology
- Other duties as assigned
