We are looking for a full-time Housing & Facilities Maintenance Superintendent to manage, coordinate, and execute complex maintenance, improvements, and acquisitions to ensure the properties operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
The Housing & Facilities Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for:
Coordinate, monitor, and provide assistance with completion and documentation maintenance, repairs and improvements.
Offer guidance, support and training to all staff regarding property maintenance.
Coordinate the purchase of supplies, materials, equipment and contracted services.
Monitor and coordinate the full and timely completion of vacant unit turn overs and make readies for resident occupancy.
Provide assistance with the acquisition of bids and estimates
Qualifications for the Housing & Facilities Maintenance Superintendent:
Minimum of five years of experience in a senior property maintenance position with exposure to all sides of facilities maintenance.
Completion of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association’s Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician course or equivalent.
Occasionally travel across the United States by air or ground with minimal advance notice.
A valid and up-to-date driver's license
Fundamental mechanical skills with the capability to complete routine building and grounds maintenance.
