AccessNurse, a TeamHealth company, is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team in this non-clinical, medical support role.
The Patient Coordinator (PC) is the first point of contact with patients who are seeking medical assistance and support from their doctor. The PC builds an immediate trust with the patient as well as provides compassion and empathy using customized scripting. The PC accurately documents the patient's needs prior to the patient speaking with a nurse.

Pay & Other Things to Consider :
Base pay is $17.00 per hour
Additional incentives / shift differentials include :
An additional $1 per hour is paid when on the clock 3pm-11pm eastern Monday through ThursdayAn additional weekend differential of $3 per hour is paid from Friday at 3pm eastern through Monday at 7am easternAn additional $1 per hour is paid for Spanish Speaking staff (testing required)Must be able to pass a pre-employment test and have a successful background check and reference check

Must be able to meet home internet and phone requirements (see below)
Job Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred1 years of customer service experience required1-2 years of healthcare experience desiredInbound call center experience preferredCall Center, Medical Office / Clinic, front desk, or first point of contact in a customer service environment preferredAbility to type a minimum of 25 wpmExcellent organizational and computer skills and ability to multi-task while speaking with patientsExcellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information by patientProfessional, courteous telephone voiceDependable, reliable and trustworthyAbility to defuse conversations and escalate if necessaryAbility to handle confidential information; HIPAA experience is a plus.Detail Oriented - Accurately process and document information ensuring data integrityAbility to follow scripted information while interacting with patients and a willingness to escalate situations as appropriateFlexibility with schedulingAbility to receive feedback on job performanceBilingual Patient Coordinators must be able to converse in Spanish and document in English simultaneouslyMust be able to provide a HIPAA-compliant workspace during training and your regular shiftsMust be able to pass a pre-employment test plus have a successful background check and reference checkreferences are verified)Remote Workstation Requirements
