What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Accessory Technologies Corporation?
Overview of the Position:
Responsibility includes MROS and product supplies are adequately stocked and ordered. Negotiate with vendors and develop good working relationships with an array of suppliers in order ensure timely delivery of purchased products. In addition, store and maintain all required historical negotiation records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of and adherence to the AS9110 Quality Management System and Quantum.
- Responsible for the negotiation and purchase of goods for ATC. Develop stand "bill of goods" to test market (yearly
- - minimum) to ensure overall best value
- Establish long-term (year or more) contracts for critical purchases.
- Maintain records of all bundled bids (1 Year or More).
- Send out Repair in support of work orders.
- Develop relationships with suppliers.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must read and write the English language.
- Should have basic computer software and keyboarding skills.
- Prior work experience in purchasing helpful but not required.
- Ability to multi-task in complex environments
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Must have H.S. Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
