Job Summary: The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions ff.
- Performs light housekeeping duties.
- Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
- Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff
- Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly
- Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
- Home Health Aides, Nurses’ Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 years’ experience
Education & Experience:
- HS or Equivalent
- Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
