Our Direct client is looking for Data Governance Architect -12 Months Contract -Onsite Opportunity at Fargo, North Dakota.
Job Description:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Architecture roles.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Purview and/or Databricks Unity Catalog (implementation experience mandatory).
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data privacy laws, and security principles.
- Familiarity with FinTech integrations and regulatory reporting standards.
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Data Governance/Data Management (e.g., DCAM, CDMP).
- Experience with financial services or banking domain, especially around FinTech collaboration models.
- Exposure to frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, etc.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, information Systems, or related discipline.
