What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer position at Accion Labs?

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and monitor networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking components.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), including migrations, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Administer virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Conduct capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across network, storage, compute, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement infrastructure security best practices and audits.
- Lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.
- Maintain documentation related to network diagrams, system configurations, SOPs, etc.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment of new applications/services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure roles.
- Strong expertise in networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Proficient in Windows and Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).
- Experience in automation (Ansible, Terraform, Shell/Python scripting) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure, VMware, etc.) are highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Any relevant certifications will be a plus.
