Location : Choose between Mesa, Tempe, or West Phoenix, AZ (Mileage reimbursement for travel between locations)
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000

Our Weight Loss Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Insurance / Financial Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will guide patients through the insurance process with empathy and professionalism , ensuring they understand their financial options while providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Insurance Verification & Coordination : Work directly with insurance companies to verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and ensure seamless claims processing.
- Patient Financial Guidance : Educate patients on their insurance coverage, out-of-pocket expenses, financing options, and payment plans.
- Sales & Consultation : Utilize a consultative approach to help patients move forward with their procedures by clearly explaining costs and benefits.
- Administrative Support : Maintain accurate patient records, handle documentation, and coordinate financial paperwork with the billing team.
- Multi-Location Flexibility : Choose your preferred home office (Mesa, Tempe, or West Phoenix). If travel to other locations is needed, mileage will be reimbursed.
What We're Looking For :
Experience in a similar medical office , preferably in bariatrics, plastic surgery, or another elective procedure-based specialty.
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, billing codes, and prior authorization processes .
A compassionate and empathetic approach youll be guiding patients through an important and sometimes emotional decision.
Sales or consultative skills to effectively explain financial options and support patients in moving forward with their procedures.
Strong organizational and communication skills , with attention to detail in financial discussions.
