Job Description
The Infection Preventionist (IP) plays a critical role in maintaining the health and safety of our community through infection control, education, and surveillance. Responsibilities include :
Core Duties
Educator Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure compliance with annual and mandatory education for CNAs and nurses.
Collaborate with HR to provide nursing-specific orientation.
Oversee pre-hire health screenings, vaccine compliance, and N95 fit testing.
Administrative Duties
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related healthcare setting preferred.
Valid LPN or RN license in the state of New Jersey.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
