SUMMARY: The selected candidate will work with a team in a manufacturing environment performing a variety of operations to assemble, Test, and potentially troubleshoot, electro-mechanical systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to correctly assemble/test medical devices. They will be responsible for maintaining product flow, quality, and work schedules. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, drawings, and procedures.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
- Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management (redlining procedures/drawings, troubleshooting, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To be considered for this role, you must have 1 - 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing assembly in a regulated environment.
- Strong skills in trouble shooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Up to 100% sitting, standing, and walking in an 8-hour workday.
- Occasional lift/carry, pushing and pulling of up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
- Assembly using basic handheld and power tools.
- Effective English communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills.
- Understands Quality and the effect it has in a production environment.
