Job Title : OSI Soft PI Consultant
Location : New Orleans
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- To bring industry knowledge, world class capabilities, innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the O&G industry to deliver business value.
- To work with leading O&G clients, major customers and suppliers to develop and execute Real Time Data Management projects.
- To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people and assets to deliver sustainable long - term solutions
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree, preferably Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation
- MBA / PGDM (preferred though not mandatory)
Experience:
- 4 15 years of experience in Data Historians (like OSIsoft PI, Aspen IP21)- Real Time Data Management (RTDM) systems implementation, consulting, upgradation, migration and support
- Proficiency in handling Requirement gathering workshops
- Experience in capturing functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience in preparing Functional Design Specification (FDS) and Detailed Design Specification (DDS) documentations.
- Ability to work, troubleshoot and Support Applications OSIsoft PI, Aspen IP21
- Experience on RTDM system rollout, integration with third party applications (Control systems, MES and ERP applications)
- Experience in Cloud deployment of Data Historians.
- Knowledge in AWS / Azure Cloud, Data Platforms, Advanced Analytics is preferable
- Should know ITIL processes - incident, problem, request and change management.
- Proficient in Support project execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill.
- Should be able to perform lead roles and manage larger teams.
- Domain skills knowledge in Oil and Gas Upstream / Downstream will be an advantage
- Develop Point of Views (POVs) and Thought Capital around the recent and upcoming trends and technologies in the RTDM space
