Family Practice physician employment in California :
OVERVIEW
Outpatient primary care for all ages. Join 4 physicians & 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Provide the full scope of primary care services within their field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive care, and health maintenance for patients. Collaborate with the leadership to support Clinic goals and objectives in partnership with the clinical team. Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and procedures, as well as state & federal regulations.
ROLE
Examine and analyze patient records, including allergies, medications, immunization status & detailed medical histories (past medical, surgical, family & social history)
Conduct physical examinations, document findings, and diagnose medical conditions using patient history, examination results, and diagnostic tests
Administer, order, interpret & act on diagnostic tests, such as blood work & imaging
Perform preventive and therapeutic procedures, including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care & infection management.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, providing instruction & counseling to patients.
Manage & monitor chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma & obesity, ensuring long-term health outcomes.
Prescribe medications within state guidelines and clinic regulations, and record patient progress.
Review medication regimens for potential interactions, patient safety & adherence to prescribed therapies.
Provide general health education on proper diet, family planning, emotional well-being, & health maintenance.
Offer in-house specialty consultations and services (e.g., psychiatric care) as appropriate to scope & training.
Refer patients to specialists and collaborate on treatment plans as needed.
Manage emergency cases, initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) & provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) as appropriate.
Provide care through telehealth platforms to improve accessibility for patients unable to attend in-person visits.
Ensure timely and compliant completion of medical charts
Provide medical coverage for the employee health clinic
Engage in community health initiatives such as health fairs or patient education workshops toand population health efforts to identify trends implement targeted interventions for high-risk populations.

Base $265,000
Performance Bonus $20,000
Loan Repayment Choices : a. LA Care Health Plan (PLRP) : Up to $180,000 for a 3-year commitment or $300,000 for a5-year commitment.
b. National Health Service Corps (NHSC) : Up to $75,000 for a 2-year full-time commitment.
c. State Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) : Up to $50,000 for a 2-year full-time commitment
d. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program by U.S. Department of Education

REQUIREMENTS
Active license to practice medicine in California;
Current California DEA certificate
Board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine;
Preference fluent in Spanish
