Job Description
Fairmont Banff Springs is looking for an energetic individual to assist in the delivery of our Resort Activities program through both the Youth Activities & the Outdoor Recreation Centre. Resort Activities Animators should have a wide variety of talents but above all should have excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
This role is a seasonal role that will commence in October and end January / February.
Job Duties Include :
- Facilitate and present small and large scale activities independently or with other Resort Activities Animators, as needed in a youth, family and / or adult environment.
- Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute clean-up duties upon completion of program, including cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open / activity ends.
- Interact with and supervise all children participating in youth activities programs, ages 3-12 years, by providing a safe environment so children of all ages will enjoy themselves.
- Contribute new activity ideas and assist in the future development of Resort Activities, as well as other programs.
- Assist with the daily operation of the Resort Activities Centre which includes booking rentals and selling products and amenities.
- Carry out all other tasks as assigned by the Resort Activities Manager or Executive Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
